The tires I have used most are Gumbo Monster Mudder 38x15. The wheels are standard 15x14 white spokes.
Does anyone know of an online source for these tires? I would be glad if someone can enlighten me.
For snow wheeling in Iceland these have proved to be the best overall tire. They work great for airing down and have lasted a really long time.
Naturally fitting such big tires takes a good deal of modifications - but that just adds to the fun 🙂

If i can't get good help I'm going to sell this mini monster truck. I have a 78 bronco Chassie under a jeep tangled. It's powered with the Ford 5.0 board .30 over. She sits pretty on gumbo 44" 12.5 15 monster mudders. But they are dry rotted and flat spotted. So I also have a set of 03-4 Harley 20" rims. Can we put 44 inch tires on those rims? Or am I just redneck ? I got almost 14,000 in this truck I'll sell it for 8500.

i'm from guam, an island. no all terain tire will get you anywhere in the mountains here. boggers, ah, maybe. swampers yea!, but mudders, you bet their gonna give you the best bite for your money.

38.5x 15LT, i found them down here in the Dominican Republic,in the Caribbean. I've been trying to get info about the tires, because i need another tire for the spare one. But it's been imposible to found them.
I heard that the company got in to A LEGAL PROBLEM with the company that makes the Supper Swamper tires, if any of you need the article let me know so i can send it, or if you know any web page where i can found them tires pls let me know.

Gumbo Mudders For Sale 18.5/44-16.5

I've got a set of 4 with the tread that are like new. Bought about 10 years ago and got out of mudding shortly thereafter. Marraige, kids, etc.
If anyone is interested I'll sell the set for $1,200 which easy math says $300 each. That's over $100 savings for that size of tire if you buy them now.

I currently have two of these tires that I inherited from a renter who decided not to pay me. They do not have rims and look to have been used very little. Tyres International or National Tire & Wheel would be the only sources I know of that may still have any left. As you have found they are getting scarce due to being discontinued by the manufacturer. Gateway, Who had the Gumbo Monster Mudder was bought out, and they are going for the newer style of off roading tires that cater more to the rock crawling crowd.
I have some experience with Interco Super Swamper TSL/SX tires. They are very wide, have some great sidewall lugs to them, and boy do they dig outta ruts! Snow running was great with them, I actually need low range 1st gear to get them rolling on my high geared CJ-7. Ice wasn't as bad as I've heard either, but my Jeep has manual brakes, and I drive carefully in that environment too. I know the casing is pretty heavy, but the tire is very tough.

Super Swampers are ok but Gumbo Monster Mudders are easier to turn not as hard on driveline an PULL JUST AS GOOD I got 21 years of mud in my blood an have used all kinds of tires an Gumbos have worked best for me
