Glacier Driving Video:
Did you know that Mobil1 produces TV shows for car enthusiast?
Well - they do and are quite professional about it. Producer Phil Allen and camera woman Sarah Goss wanted to see what all the fuss is with the glacier driving here in Iceland. I was more than willing to take them on a short tour to help them show their viewers what it's like.
Up by the roots of Langjokull glacier Sarah Goss had to show her skills with the camera in all kinds of weather and conditions.
The actual filming took two days as I had one of the air bags bust just as we got close to the glacier.
Ready to start off up the glacier and there is fresh and wet snow at the edge.
Phil and Sarah take the time they need to get all the shots for their story.
Ragnar Robertsson is testing out his newest toy. A Grand Cherokee on 38 inch tires. Seems to work just fine!
Higher up on the glacier the visibility goes down as we are really inside a cloud.
Lower down the view is spectacular and a great "photo opportunity" for Sarah.
