I am a civil/structural engineer and often times travel from one place to another where projects are located. Usually mostly unpaved road leading to the project site so I needed a vehicle that can address these problems. The answer is a 4x4 vehicle. Not only that I REALLY LOVE THE DESIGN AND APPEARANCE OF A 4X4 VEHICLE. SO CONFIDENT WHEN TRAVELLING
What is your 4x4 brand, type and year?
Actually I just started building my own. It is an Isuzu pickup stock 4x2 model 1996.
What modifications have you done for your 4x4?
I have started 4 inches body lift and replaced the stock tires with 265/70R15 SAVERO A/T tires. So far these already met 80% of my requirements in going to places. Replaced the bumpers with an ARB similar design.
What do you plan for your next steps in modifying your 4x4?
I'm planning to convert the front suspension into leaf springs or coil springs whichever is better, put front axle and a transfer case later if I have already the budget.
What do you find most challenging when lifting your 4x4 truck?
The articulation and driveability and stability.
Where do you go wheeling and what is the terrain like?
Uphill climbing and we have a 150 kilometers stretch of geological sand dunes here.
