1976 Chevy Blazer 4x4 409bb 4 speed trans 35"xterains.
I just got this rig from my gunnery sergeant (USMC) 3 months ago. I traded him my 95 firebird and I have to say I came out on top on this deal, he just had the engine (409bb) rebuilt new Edelbrock 750 carb headers and MSD ign. The Firebird needed a clutch and a mild makeover because I just couldn't stay out of the dirt, and now, only the price of gas slows me down ($2.64 per gal). To protect my Blazer from all the trees I run over I painted the sides and back with a military grade rinoliner that's tough as rock.
Camp Pendleton in southern Calif. is where I play the most, with all the hills and tank trails and even the beach, I never get bored, but sometimes I go to Bigbear for the snow.
Fact: only 10% of all 4x4 in the US ever see dirt. Form a club and excise your ability to run over every and anything in your path, even that buzzing Honda light show that stole your parking spot, park on top and show them you care!
