Hello friends I am Hassan Aziz from Pakistan. Here in Pakistan Willys are really popular specially in Rawalpindi, a city of Pakistan. In Rawalpindi there's an area where all the Jeeps specially 1942 Willys and 1952 m3bs are restored. Here it's easy because we can find their original bodies and parts from auction.
I have recently restored an MB and M38 and Willys pickup 1961 model all with petrol engines. I had to face some problems when I was restoring the gear of Willys 1942. The parts related to gear of 1942 are now very less here.
Anyway it's really fun to restore an World War Jeep. And after we restore it, when we drive that monster its really a wonderful feeling.
It's the same feeling as if we are in the era of the 1940s.
